Wish we’d never wasted our time

When we first moved here, Matt Telli and Ariel were the managers and they were PHENOMENAL. But now? I have no clue who’s in charge, I think it’s Adam? We’ve gone through three + managers in the last few months. Everything seems to be breaking, the water is constantly being turned off, and now our AC is broken. Apparently that’s not considered an emergency even when you’re pregnant and literally cannot overheat or your unborn child is at risk. They don’t care, they won’t even apologize, and won’t come inspect your issue for days. We used to love living here but for $1700+ a month you’d expect working appliances and a little sympathy and concern for your well being. Cannot wait to get out of here!!!

Living here

Lived here for over a year. Absolutely love it! Beautiful apartments, great staff. The only small downside is the parking. But it’s not absolutely terrible.

My thoughts

Parking here stinks. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it because there is just no room. The only thing that could be done is to limit residents to 1 vehicle. Or permits could be issued and anyone who doesnt have a permit gets towed. We moved back here for the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately neither has been working for quite some time. There is also elevators here and that is huge for someone who doesnt want to live on first floor and who doesnt or cant climb stairs. I cant rate maintenance because there has been no reason to need them right now. Joey, the manager, is very likeable and seems to truly care about residents. The location of the apartments is very central to a lot of things. There is a pretty large retail center going in across the street with restaurants. That is a plus!!

We realize that the parking here is somewhat limited due to the size of the property, however we do not want to restrict residents from having more than one vehicle. As far as the pool and hot tub goes we are very sorry about how long they have been down. However, during the COVID-19 crisis we have been working on both and are hoping to re-open them as soon as it is safe to allow residents back into the amenities. We are glad that you have not had a need for any maintenance in your apartment, however if the need ever does arise we hope that you find the experience positive. Such a peaceful community!

It felt like we were living right against the mountains, with trees all around! Frank, the maintenance man is so nice and friendly! I would recommend this community if you love living near Cheyenne Canyon but still be about a 5 minute drive to downtown.

Apartment life is apartment life

"Parking is too tight, but it's nice that you're guaranteed one covered space and it's included in rent . Very little extra spaces. We constantly hear neighbors though after speaking with them, it's gotten a lot better . This just comes with the territory of apartment living. Grounds are nice since there are pretty mature trees and an overall nice but small common area. We really like the layout 2BD 2BR - we like the big master bedroom and the smaller second bedroom. Kitchen is a good size, and for an apartment, it has good counter space. Heat insulation haven't been here for a winter yet, so not sure. What's nice is that we barely have to put the AC on in the summer, since we're on the second floor, so we're insulated from the heat. And just opening the windows is usually enough. makes for a low electric bill Staff zero complaints. Zac was the manager that worked with us moving in, and soon after we got here, Jesus replaced him. Both are super friendly and helpful. Apartment life is apartment life. You hear your neighbors, you don't like everything about the complex, but overall it's a good apartment."

We love living here

Frank has recently done a couple improvements to our apartment at Cheyenne. He is so nice and does a great job, he even plays with our dog when he comes. Zac and Kyanna have also been a treat for us. If it wasn't for Kyanna's patience and politeness, we wouldn't be here now. Thank you Cheyenne Creek for a great place to call home.

Cheyenne Creek is Home

Cheyenne Creek is my home and I feel that way because they always take care of me. Frank and Zac in the office are so nice and make me feel like I'm family every time I go in to visit or to ask for something to be done in my apartment. They are always quick to act and make sure I'm comfortable. I have been here for a couple of years and I do not plan on leaving anytime soon. They are the best.

Perfect Fit For Us --Happy To Be Here

We relocated to the Springs in January from Florida after making a preliminary trip to check out the area. We viewed four different apartment complexes during our trip. Cheyenne Creek was the last one we stopped at. Zac Partin and the staff at Cheyenne Creek are the reason we are here We were discouraged by all the other places we toured. Zac went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and accommodate us, which was huge from halfway across the country. He and the rest of the staff are extremely professional. Two months in we are still very happy with our choice to be here. The apartments are condo-style, which is nice because of the high ceilings. We are in a one-bed, one-bath and it has been a great amount of space for two people. The apartment was in good condition when we moved in, with new carpet and fresh paint. The complex is well-maintained, with plenty of parking. It is pet-friendly, which for us was huge because we moved with a pet and had a hard time finding a well-maintained, pet-friendly place. As far as noise from neighbors, we can hear them sometimes, but we always keep in mind that, when leaving in proximity to other people, you are going to hear them at times. This is normal. We don't feel that the noise is more than what is to be expected for apartment living, in fact it is probably less. There is a nice gym available at the clubhouse, which we use every day open 24 hours . It is always clean and stocked with towels and water. We have an assigned covered parking space -- we only have one car, but there is enough parking for two cars the second space is unassigned and uncovered . So far we are very pleased and happy with our experience at Cheyenne Creek. It is an apartment complex, so you have to keep in mind that you will hear other people, they may make messes and not follow the rules. It is pet-friendly, and most people clean up after their pets, but some people do not although everyone signs a lease with specific terms con

Cheyenne Creek Apartments

Overall, this is a very nice, attractive location to reside. The windows and doors are not well insulated because you can feel cold air around the seals of the windows and doors I had to put blankets and throws around the door windows.

Parking Issues

While I appreciate the concern for our safety by enforcing fire lanes, this would be a non-issue if there was adequate parking on the property. So once the painting to mark the fire lanes is complete, where are you going to tell the residents to park You can't take away parking if you cannot offer an alternative.

Misleading Community

"This place offers what they call luxury living. Granted we have a pool that is well maintained as well as a deck with a grill, work out equipment as well. We even have areas to walk your dogs and designated trash areas for them. We have controlled access buildings too The doors are propped open, and we live in a high activity area for the homeless. No one has ever seemed concerned about how often the doors are left open. We lost power one night so I went downstairs to have a look around . . . all the doors were open at 2am. Is that how you foster a safe luxury community experience The dog bins are always overflowing, probably because there's only three on the entire property, one of which is in the corner, where almost no one goes. There is a much more intuitive system and better placement for these, if the community employees gave a shit. These trashes are emptied once a week, but they are overflowing within a few days. The grounds are only kept up once a week maybe And in the fall the grounds are covered in leaves, so the walkways fill with dog poop and urine. This wouldn't happen if the grounds were maintained regularly. I understand we like to party friday and saturday nights, and I never care if people are loud within reason. But the middle of the week, at two am, we have neighbors partying and moving stuff. I believe it is apartment 111 that I had an altercation with a few nights ago because they were still partying at 2am, keeping me and my family up. I have also had issue with neighbors throwing trash off their balconies, filling the hallways with trash, dog pee, dog poop, broken jars. People act disgusting, and I can only imagine this is due to the lack of care and concern from the community team. This is an issue in both buildings, that has resonated with many residents that I've spoken with. The construction is terrible. Fixtures are not repaired in a timely manner. We still h"

Best Apartment I've Lived In

The apartment is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The manager and staff are excellent. The only issue is very limited parking only one designated site per apartment and the price is definitely on the high end.

The apartment complex is located in a great area, the grounds are kept extremely clean, it's just beautiful here. I feel very safe here when I'm by myself because of the security of the building having a card key to enter.

Not so happy

Very expensive, almost no parking at all, homeless guys sneak in and management does nothing, apartments are extremely small especially for the amount you pay. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone When my lease is up I will for sure be finding a new location to live

But the noise levels

Moving to Colorado was supposed to be a RELIEF from the burdens of noisy inconsiderate neighbors but it is actually worse here than in in California. I assume it is due to the apartment style set up. Apartment buildings simply do not fair well for people who do not enjoy gratuitous noise levels. The living conditions here are horrible ONLY because of either the lack of caring about what type of residents are allowed to live here or the construction of the complex or in my opinion both. The neighbors a floor above us are obnoxiously loud at all hours, more specifically the children who's guardians do absolutely nothing to behave like civilized people. No attempt to instruct the child on how to behave even after complaining. We left a be kind to your neighbors notice on their door. We also informed the front office about our issues and still not a thing has changed. We are now dead set on moving out as soon as we are able. The neighbor below has frequent vocal disturbances with his significant other's up and to including threats of suicide his dog doesn't even bother us at all when compared to the noise levels from all of the various people. Again, it could very well be due to the buildings construction but limiting the residents with small children to the first floor would do allot. A really great place to live geographically but I would never recommend living here due to the intolerable noise from other residents and the lack of resolve over the issue by Weidner.,

It's a nice place to live...BUT.....

It's a nice place to live as far as the location, and CAN be an enjoyable stay, however my experience with the neighbors around me has been unpleasant. The neighbors above are very heavy footed, and loud in general. They also have a child that runs around as if it's a play ground. And other neighbors near me, let their front doors slam at all hours, making the walls shake. For a luxury apartment complex, these noise levels should not even exist. It makes Cheyenne Creek seem as if they are low income apartments. I have already complained to the front office in regards to the neighbors that live above me, but seems like they didn't give them the memo. I think that people who have NO respect for others, and are extremely loud, should either not live here, or be on the first level where you can't hear any running, or being heavy footed. I think that ALL tenants should get a friendly reminder letter, stating something along the lines to be mindful of their neighbors, and have some common courtesy. This is my only complaint about Cheyenne Creek, and other than that it's a nice place. I do however, look forward to moving out simply because of the neighbors.

Second Time, Best Weidner Property

I lived here once before, and after living in 2 other Weidner Properties, I transferred back to Cheyenne Creek, yes a little higher than other properties but they are updated and larger, yes you have the non responsible dog parents and those who do not respect the rules, but that is everywhere. I feel that residents need to do their part, just pick up after yourselves includes your dogs, and respect where you live take pride in your home. We are all responsible for our actions. Could things be better yes, but that's on the residents who do not care and throw trash on the ground, lets their dogs run loose, and does not pick up the dogs is that the Complexes fault no, that is the residents that disregards the rules Not gated but coming off of Cheyenne Rd there really is no way to be gated, as would create worse traffic back ups. Friendly place to live

Overall pleasant complex. Area is nice and pretty serene, and staff and tenants are friendly. Grounds need some work, such as tree and shrub trimming and plants needing watered. Parking is okay, however I wish my assigned parking space was closer to my apartment instead of almost 3 buildings away.

Great place to live

I recently moved in with my daughter and so far everything has been great. There is a real sense of community with the other residents. The apartments are really nice and have a very open feel. Parking is limited for guests but I have not had a problem with people parking in my spot as I have at other complexes. My daughter loves in indoor pool and it is kept very clean.

Love it here Very quiet, beautiful unit

It's quiet, the staff is friendly and attentive, our unit is gorgeous and our maintenance issues are resolved quickly. The only area we can see that needs improvement is the hot tub and pool. There have been a lot of issues with it since we've moved in and having an indoor pool hot tub was a big draw for us when looking for a place.
